Washington’s delegate to Congress called anti-choice Rep. Trent Franks, (R-AZ), “a big bully” Tuesday for his proposal to restrict legal abortions in the District of Columbia.

South Carolina’s state health plan, which covers 417,000 people and is financed by a combination of premiums paid by state workers and taxpayers, now pays for abortions if the life of the mother is in danger, or in cases of rape or incest thanks to a recent bipartisan compromise.
