On Wednesday extremist Republicans in North Carolina added a slew of anti-choice provisions at the last minute to a bill otherwise concerned with banning Sharia law. Gov. Pat McCrory (R) has spoken out against the shoddy way these amendments were added.

Scott Walker (R) quietly signed a contentious anti-choice bill Friday that would require women seeking abortions to undergo an ultrasound and ban doctors who lack admitting privileges at nearby hospitals from performing the procedures- a law that would cut the number of clinics offering abortions in the state in half.
