A bill that would require women to have face-to-face consultations with a doctor before an abortion has passed the Kentucky Senate, officials say.
European regulators said on Friday they would assess whether emergency contraceptives, known as the “morning after pill” worked as effectively in women of various weights, and whether the warning labels should be changed.
Mike Huckabee’s comments about contraception are providing quick fodder for Democrats and a headache for Republicans trying to market themselves as a better choice for female voters.
