Oklahoma may be headed back to court over an anti-choice law aiming to force abortion clinics out of business. Courts have stopped similar laws at least temporarily in four states. The appeals court has not issued a ruling on the constitutionality of the law, and some observers believe that the case will ultimately wind up before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Lawmakers in the Alabama House are scheduled Tuesday to vote on four anti-choice bills that would further restrict abortions in the state.

Anti-choice legislation to extend Missouri’s abortion waiting period from 24 hours to 72 hours will be debated this week. This dangerous bill would push women further into pregnancy before the procedure, which can increase risk.
