The Food and Drug Administration has decided that generic and cheaper versions of popular morning-after contraceptive Plan B can be sold over the counter without age restrictions.

After an extremist legislator suggested South Dakota’s proposed anti-choice abortion ban was necessary because of an influx of immigrants to the state, the bill’s opponents argued Monday that it would stigmatize Asian-Americans and promote racial stereotypes.

The Alabama House of Representatives will debate four anti-choice bills today, including one that would ban abortions as early as 6 weeks, before many women even know they are pregnant.
