Anti-choice extremists in the U.S. House of Representatives are calling for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to hold a vote on legislation introduced by Sen. Lindsey Graham unconstitutionally banning abortion after 20 weeks.

State legislatures in Louisiana will not vote to override Gov. Bobby Jindal’s veto of a surrogacy contract bill, which received a strong majority of votes in the last two legislative sessions. Jindal cited opposition to the bill that claimed in-vitro fertilization involves procedures that are “technically abortion.”
