Long-acting birth control methods, such as the IUD and implant, could cut pregnancy rates by almost 80 percent in sexually active teens, according to a new study.

Tennessee’s anti-choice Amendment 1, which will be on the November ballot, has been in the works for 14 years, ever since the courts struck down restrictive abortion regulations. Since then, anti-choice advocates have been trying to change the state constitution in their favor.
