This year, Texas anti-choice groups are pushing lawmakers to exclude Planned Parenthood from a life-saving cancer screening program.

A Tennessee lawmaker has filed a bill that would require physicians to provide women seeking an abortion with misleading state-mandated information. The bill is now one of multiple anti-choice bills that have already been filed in preparation for what is expected to be a legislative session full of attacks on reproductive rights in Tennessee.

The River City Times (River City, KY)
This Saturday the Kentucky state Senate passed an anti-choice measure by a 30-5 vote. The bill would require women to have an additional physician appointment at least 24-hours before an abortion takes place. The woman would be required to cover the costs of this medically unnecessary appointment.
