An Indiana lawmaker has introduced an anti-choice ban on abortions supposedly based on the fetus’s gender or due to a genetic mental or physical disability. Such bills are target and discriminate against minority women.

North Dakota’s anti-choice Measure 1 is “just one version of personhood amendments being passed around the country these days. Unless legislators want to see the state invade the medical decisionmaking process of citizens, their family life, and indeed citizens’ very liberty, they should stay far away from these vague and broad amendments.”
