The Supreme Court on Monday decided not to take up a controversial anti-choice North Carolina law that would have forced women to undergo a “narrated ultrasound” before receiving an abortion.

Anti-choice Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed into law tighter rules for Texas teenagers who wish to undergo abortions but can’t get the required parental consent because of extreme circumstances like fearing domestic abuse.

A day after anti-choice Florida Governor Rick Scott signed a bill requiring a 24-hour waiting period before Florida women can have abortions, pro-choice groups have quickly challenged the constitutionality of the law.
