New York Rep. Richard Hanna was among only three GOP lawmakers who broke party ranks Friday to oppose a measure to cut off federal funding for Planned Parenthood.

The Iowa Board of Medicine had 90 days to appeal the striking down of its rule that would have killed Planned Parenthood’s clinics that offer remote abortion services for rural women in the state. But that deadline passed Thursday with no appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Although House Republican leaders still have no plan to avoid a government shutdown, they moved forward Friday with a pair of votes on abortion-related legislation they hope give conservatives a chance to act on their opposition to Planned Parenthood.
