While the abortion debate in America typically revolves around “choice and life,” a judge in Northern Ireland has advocated for another aspect of the argument to be considered: human rights. In an area where abortion laws are among the strictest in Europe, the judge proposed a change in policy that would ease the country’s restrictions.
A recent poll indicates that even before the shootings at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood last week, the majority of Americans believed that attacks on abortion clinics should be considered domestic terrorism.

While many anti-abortion terrorists typically target abortion providers specifically, the violence at the Colorado Springs clinic seemed to victimize the institution of Planned Parenthood, as well as anyone who happened to be frequenting the establishment at that time.
