Victory in the US Senate.

Last week the Senate Appropriations Committee approved its FY 2017 spending draft, which included maintaining funding for the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPPP) at $101 million and the Title X Family Planning Program at $286.5 million.

That’s right, RMC’s top priority family planning measures gained strong Republican support with all but one GOP Committee member voting in our favor!

Remember Title X and TPPP are PREVENTIVE programs that lower the rate of untended pregnancy, teen pregnancy and abortion AND save taxpayers billions of dollars in related costs.  Click here for RMC fact sheets.

Because of your support we have been able to send the RMC Team to meet with a record number of Congressional lawmakers. Your support helped us bring the undeniable facts and figures directly to decision makers –clearly it’s working!

We want to thank you for sticking with us and ask that you consider donating to help us keep this momentum moving — click here and send your vital support to RMC today.

We also ask for your help in thanking key GOP Committee members for ensuring Bi-Partisan support for vital family planning measures.  Take a look at the list below and send your email or make your call today.

This victory is huge but it is just the first step in a long budget process –we can’t afford to let this momentum slide and will be back on the Hill immediately meeting with Senators and House appropriators.
